Washington, D.C. – Thousands of people lined up to get into Awesome Con’s three day event this past weekend at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Awesome Con is a comic convention based in Washington D.C. that embraces all geekdom and pop culture. Many celebrity guests made appearances to sign autographs and pose for photo ops with their fans. A few notable actors included Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who), Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who), Brett Dalton (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D), and Karl Urban (Star Trek/Lord of the Rings), among the list of celebrity guest appearances.
