Can you imagine bringing a tripod out and getting a slow exposure during sunset and doing some light HDR to get a really awesome pic of this thing overlooking Tokyo? Just like a movie except it's actually real! Man that would be sweet :P
there's actually some pretty good ass package deals right now. You can get round trip flights to Japan for like 550-700 bucks if you look hard enough and book in advance.. and also a package deal at the Keio Plaza hotel right in Tokyo, 6 nights for 570.. so you could stay for two weeks for less than 1200 bucks at a fancy ass hotel.. could be even cheaper if you decide to stay at a capsule hotel or know anyone living there.
