Long Beach, CA – So you read our article on the Motion Auto Show. But deep down inside, you felt something was missing. “He mentioned that one major component of car shows are the cars… but he forgot the other half… the models. WHERE ARE THE MODELS?!?”  Fret not dear reader, for we would never turn a blind eye to such things! Yes, we go out of our way and take pictures of all the booth babes and models that are a staple of the car show just for you! When we previously mentioned that Motion did not disappoint, we were also referring to the fine selection of ladies that appeared throughout the day (even some of the showgoers were pretty hot; sometimes we weren’t sure if some of these girls were actual models or just attendees).  All we can say is – some of the kids that came probably hit puberty immediately at Motion- and that by the end of the day, we were thirsty for milk.  We’ll stop typing now and let you enjoy the pics we got.

It took quite a while, but we were finally able to get our hands on the angelic Francia Marie! Her exotic looks, captivating eyes, and all-natural 32C cups on a slender, five-foot body (we love boobies, you do the math) caught our attention immediately, so we knew we had to try and get her to shoot with us. Must be the half-German half-Filipina genes, because most girls don’t look this good without paying a hefty fee to the local plastic surgeon.

A shoot was originally scheduled about two years ago, but Francia took a year-long hiatus from modeling to concentrate on some different projects, including fight choreography, acting, and producing music. We thought she had forgotten all about us until we received a follow-up email a few months ago. Naturally, we jumped at the chance and started working out a  schedule with her.

We get a lot of flak here for mostly doing glamour shots involving half-naked ladies, so for Francia we wanted to prove that we’re not one-trick ponies here at Madlight Media. Our shoot took us through the amazingly diverse landscape that Downtown L.A. provides, in an effort to find a location suitable for a fashion look.  We settled on the train yard and a rooftop location in the heart of Downtown, but it was no easy task; fending off bums, police officers (for “trespassing”), and security guards while trying to just get a few shots in- but it comes with the territory when shooting guerilla style. Although we spent a lot of time getting chased around more so than getting any shooting done, it was easy to get great pictures thanks to Francia’s amazing ability to look natural all the time. Most importantly, she was a blast to work with, fun, and genuine with her conversations.

So was the two year wait worth it? We definitely think so, and we hope you do too!

Madlightmedia.com presents to you Cindy, another stunning model from the sunny shores of Southern California. Although currently residing in SoCal, she was born and raised in Belize. We were lucky enough to have been able to do a shoot with her, especially with our very tight schedules and hers. One sunny day, we headed to Malibu, CA to meet up with Cindy to do a beach shoot. This was a few hours before we were headed to Vegas. We knew we were spreading ourselves thin, but once we met Cindy, we knew all the effort we put into waking up early for a morning shoot was worth it. Cindy is a very down to earth person, dorky enough to engage in conversation with dorks like us. But once she was in front of the lens, she morphed into modeling mode, where you can see the passion and ferocity she gave with every pose. She was brave enough to face the cold weather in nothing more than a green bottom at times. Thanks again for working with us Cindy. We hope you had fun and like the images as much as we did. Madlightmedia.com presents to you Kelly Cirieco, a model from sunny Southern California. You’ve probably seen her as one of the fangirls of Alvin in Alvin and the Chipmunks movie sequel. She’s also been on TV, music videos, and does promotional work as well. It was fun working with her, since she was very easy to direct. She can also pull off different looks, from the girl next door, to a hot bikini model, all the way to a more serious fashion look. She’s also friends with Michelle Anderson, another hot model who has graced our pages. Thanks again for working with us Kelly! We hope you success in your future endeavors. Its always a turn on for guys when they find out that a girl has similar interests with them. Girls who are into sports and know more than one sports celebrity earn kudos points from most guys. But for geeks and gamers (us included),  there’s no greater turn on than a female gamer. Nowadays, female gamers are increasing in number. But Jenn here isn’t just your typical female gamer. For one, she is HOT. Two, she works at Hooters. Three, she loves guns. If that’s not enough, she can bust out geeky jokes on demand. A certified hot geek indeed. She’s also pretty patient, evident after waiting for us for an hour the day of the shoot, thanks to traffic on the Riverside freeway. That’s just about enough time for a gamer to level up in an RPG, although she might actually be playing with a game of her own. Not only is she into gaming, but she’s also starting to get into the photography craze which has been spreading like wildfire, complete with her own set of lights at home. Meet Erin Siu. She’s not your typical model, because she is batshit crazy. Nah, we’re just messing with you Erin. But definitely, this isn’t your run of the mill Madlightmedia shoot. For once, we tried to go all artsy fartsy. We’ve also never brought a full size mirror to a location shoot, especially if it was a beach shoot. Too bad it didn’t make it in the end. 7 years bad luck? I doubt it, especially with the images we got from the shoot with Erin. Not sure if we achieved the look that we were going for, but we’re pretty happy with the results. Erin seems to be pretty happy as well, right Erin? All in all, it was a fun shoot, and as always, its nice to meet a new person dedicated to their art, especially if that new person treats you out to froyos every once in awhile. Here’s to Erin and her quest to break it into the entertainment biz and to become a kickass breakdancer and bartender.

March 20, 2010,  Irwindale, CA – Today marked the inaugural event of the Xtreme Drift Circuit, which was unique in its description as both an HIN-style lifestyle party, and a drifting competition. The main difference here is its circuit is based on the pro-am level, allowing both professionals and the self-funded “privateers” to compete on the same level. In addition to the drifting competition was the usual menagerie of vendors, display cars, and of course the most important part (at least for us), the babes!
