LA LIVE, March 11, 2014 – We recently collaborated with Kinsman Swim, a rising name in the high end luxury swimwear market. Designed by Joanna Kinsman, she is now based in Los Angeles after moving from her hometown of Maine to pursue her dream of making the perfect bikini. With her Brazilian cut designs, people are sure to notice; evident from the crowd as the models made their way down the runway from this year’s Style Fashion Week in LA. We were lucky enough to be invited by Joanna to be part of this year’s Style Fashion Week in LA. We rarely get to see the high end fashion industry up close, so getting to see the behind the scenes for an event as big as this was an experience for us. We’ve been to “fashion shows” and “runway” walks, but never at this level of a production. With so many make-up artists, hairstylists, wardrobe stylists, and media working behind the scenes, its easy for nobodies like us to get lost in the glamour and just enjoy the scenery. After coming to our senses and realizing that we had a job to do, we fired up our gear, just to give you loyal visitors and followers a glimpse of what happens during a fashion week in one of USA’s major fashion markets.
