Long Beach, CA – This year, with the highly anticipated Motion Auto Show occurring on the same weekend as Bimmerfest, So Cal car enthusiasts had a busy two days to look forward to. Motion went for a repeat performance for 2012, with another entertaining car show to kick off the summer season with!
Similar to last year, Motion is the place to go to see the latest trends in modified cars, meet with vendors, and of course, see some of the hottest girls out there. One thing we always enjoy about Motion are the massive amounts of models walking the floor – some of the more notable ladies out there included (our personal favorite) Megan Belet, Sandra Wong, Xena Kai, Eli Pasion, and a surprise appearance by Evelyn Lin (who you should probably only Google up when you’re at home in the privacy of your room). In addition to the usual car and models, the show also included a dance competition, as well as a bikini competition hosted by Jeri Lee. Also unique was the Scion booth’s Gran Turismo 5 competition, and the fighting game kiosk hosted by MLG and NOS Energy Drink. Motion always brings out the big brands to show off their wares- some of the companies on display included AutoMeter, Nitto, Falken, AEM, Eibach, Rays, and Eibach, among many more. There was a wide variety of cars on display, although the most eye catching ones probably being the first modified Scion FR-S’ to appear to the public outside of a magazine. Of course, opinions differ, so check out our pics and video to see for yourself!
P.S. Apologies for the crappy footage – our videographer was unable to attend so we had no gear. –Dave Luong, Madlight Media
